How to Be a Supervillain: Born to Be Good
Victor Spoil has always wanted to own his own bookstore, but that doesn’t go along with his parents’ plans for him to become a supervillain. The school Victor goes to specializes in supervillian studies, and their biggest rivals are the students from superhero school. Victor tries to go along with his parents’ wishes, but he just does not want to be a villain, and when your best friend can read minds, it’s pretty hard to keep your secrets to yourself. When Victor’s parents and other super parents are kidnapped by the “Collector,” it is up to Victor and the other super kids to save them. The kids must use their powers for good instead of evil.
This is a funny story about a boy who doesn’t quite fit in with everyone but who learns to work together with others when there is trouble. Victor only has one true friend, but his friend always has his back and encourages him to follow his dreams. Overall, this was a great story–the storyline keeps the reader interested in what is going to happen next.
