How Do Molecules Stay Together?

This book was absolutely amazing. Not only did it introduce a new concept, but it helped me to better understand chemistry and why it is important to me. What in the world are molecules? How Do Molecules Stay Together easily breaks down what sounds to be a very complicated subject. This is an absolutely perfect book to introduce atoms, molecules, and matter. The fun text asks questions relatable to young reader’s curiosities, such as “are chemical reactions like human reactions?” It then beautifully explains the differences. Not only is the text fun and relatable but easily helps readers to better understand the world around them and how it is made. The fun, bright, and colorful illustrations are stunning and give readers a better understanding of atoms, molecules, and matter. Also being from the great state of Tennessee, I love that Flower Pot Press publishes books locally in middle Tennessee. The author Madeline Hayes graduated from the state of Tennessee with a chemical and biomolecular engineering degree and then she wrote this fantastic book to introduce chemistry to young readers. I hope she continues to write books and share her knowledge in a way that is easy for young readers to understand. This book would be perfect for the classroom, library, or home use.
