House of Danger (Choose Your Own Adventure #6)
House of Danger is a choose your own adventure book. In this story, the reader is an investigator whose job is to investigate an old prison that was used during the civil war. To begin the adventure, the investigator receives a mysterious call from the prison that says, “I need. I need…”
Throughout the book, the reader is presented with a number of choices. You get to choose, for example, to help an injured person who is in danger or to run away to your car and save yourself. You can also choose to be a baby or an old person. The prison is full of angry chimpanzees, a hostage alien, and a brain-altering disc that allows you to see through walls.
I loved this book because it was very entertaining, and at times, suspenseful. In general, I like choose your own adventure books because they are very fun! You never know what’s coming, and there are multiple endings, which I love.
Other kids would love this book because it’s exciting and adventurous. People should also read all the other choose your own adventure books. I myself have never read one I didn’t really enjoy!
