Horse Meets Dog
Horse Meets Dog is about a horse and a dog who accidentally misidentify each other as the wrong animal. Later on, a bird joins the mix and confuses both the bird and the dog. This is what people do to each other all the time when they misidentify other people based on their ideas and experiences. This story uses comedy to teach a valuable life lesson: we should not judge others based only on what we see or our first impressions. Sometimes the way we think causes us to judge others unfairly, but we do not like it when the same thing happens to us. The book teaches us to give others a chance to show who they are before we start putting labels on them.
I recommend this story to younger children who enjoy funny stories. The argument between the horse and the dog made me laugh out loud as I read. If you enjoy reading about animals and want a good laugh, you should buy Horse Meets Dog and see how these two carry on when they meet each other!
