I love this book.

Hope Springs is about kindness. There was not much water because there was a drought. Boniface is a boy with no mommy or daddy. He lives in the orphanage with other kids and Ruth and Henry take care of them. Boniface tried to get water at the spring. The first time he came they kicked him out so he could not have any water. They were mean. Boniface is very curious about the water. He tries to help everyone.

I like how he is super duper nice. This is a true story. That means it is real. There are places in Kenya that do not have water or wells to get the water. People come together and try to build wells to get lots and lots of water. They need water to keep them alive. Kenya is in Africa, and that is very, very, super far away from where I live.

I really, really love the pictures in this book. They are really really pretty. I like that the real story, and the pictures are at the end. Everyone should read this book.
