Home Collection 1: Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home is based on the characters from the movie “Home,” featuring Tip the humansperson, Oh the alien Boov, and Pig the cat. There are nine short stories in this book, but my favorite is Ghost Stories! Tip, Oh, and Pig have to stay at an abandoned house overnight. Tip tells a ghost story, and Oh is so scared. The best part is when Oh attacks the sheets he thinks are ghosts, trips, and yells, “OWPAIN!”

In Hide and Seek and Oh, Oh uses a teleporter to hide all over the galaxy. He wants to be the best hider! In another story, Oh gets a series of jobs, but he is terrible at them. He eats all the food he is supposed to be cooking for the customers! He blows up an assembly line for spaceship parts. Will Oh ever find his perfect job?

In Oh the Human, Oh tries to be a human by wearing human clothes, eating human food, and going to school with Tip! Tip and her mom decide to throw a party to celebrate Oh’s Boov-ness. They want Oh to be unique, special, and proud of who he is.

These stories are funny and entertaining!
