Hello, I’m a Pangolin (Meet the Wild Things, Book 2)

Pangolins are so cool! This is an informative story all about pangolins and how they live and why they are endangered. Did you know pangolins are the only mammals with scale like armor? I find it interesting to know that their scales are so rough, seeing that they are made from keratin like human fingernails.

This book was so informative. I haven’t ever seen a pangolin in real life but I would think the illustrations represent a pangolin well. My favorite illustration in the entire book is the mommy and baby pangolins together. As with many endangered animals, the best thing we can try to do is protect them and hope that humans poaching don’t make them go extinct.

It appears this is part of a series, so I would like to see more books like this.
