Nick and Charlie are now officially boyfriends, although they’re still just best friends to their classmates. Hiding their relationship becomes a lot harder when the class goes on a school trip to Paris, though. Nick feels that he’s ready to come out to their friends, but Charlie thinks differently. Charlie suffered bullying and taunts last year when he came out, and he doesn’t want the same for Nick. On the trip, Nick and Charlie begin to feel more comfortable with their identities and with each other––but they’re not the only romantic relationship budding in Paris! Will they find the courage to finally be who they are to the rest of the world?

I love all the Heartstopper books! Nick and Charlie are the cutest couple, and I adore the dynamics within their relationship. I was also a big fan of the other romances in the book, which I felt were sweet and nicely developed. The diversity and realistic teenage drama were nice to see as well. I would gladly pick up any other book in the Heartstopper series!
