Happiness Doesn’t Come from Headstands
In this book a little girl called Leela goes to yoga class. She can do all the poses except a headstand. She tries hard to do one but still can’t. She is sad that she can’t and thinks that she would be happy only if she can. Her friend Lyle helps her see that she can do other things even if she can’t do a headstand. So Leela does other things she does best like skating, singing and drawing stars on sand. She finally realizes that even if she can never do a headstand she is happy because she can do other things like a somersault. I loved this book because like Leela I cannot do a headstand but I am good at doing a tree pose! This is a great book for kids of all ages. My parents loved this book also!
