Hamsters Make Terrible Roommates
Henry the hamster is roommates with Marvin the hamster. They have been roommates for two hundred and five days. Marvin never stops talking, ever. Henry loves peace and quiet, but he’s stuck with Marvin. Then, the next day Henry can’t cope with Marvin’s talking anymore. So after they talk to each other some, they are both able to find a compromise.
I loved the way this book ended, and I loved the art because of all the funny faces the hamsters made. I also loved how the illustrator gave both the hamsters buck teeth. My favorite character is Marvin because he’s very chatty, like me. My favorite part was when Henry turned the lines on the wall that he had used for counting down the days into a tic tac toe board at the end of the book. I wonder why on some of the pages, the drawings of the hamsters sometimes have hairs on their backs and heads, but sometimes they don’t? I recommend this book to people who like hamsters and silly books. If you do, then I think you will enjoy this book.
