Hair in all the Wrong Places was about a boy who is thirteen and lives in a town called Elkin with his cranky grandma, so he tries to escape. To escape, he steals his grandma’s car. While he is driving, he crashes into a dark shape and falls out of his car. Then when he gets up, a werewolf jumps on him and bites him. Later through the month, he starts experiencing physical changes with his body. First his hair grows longer, faster. Then his muscles start growing rapidly. Now his senses start improving! He has really good night vision, and he can hear and smell really well, too. Then he meets the werewolf who bit him, and they work together. The plot of this story was very exciting and always kept you hooked. The characters in this tale were very cool; my favorite was Colin (the boy who gets bitten). The characters were also quite realistic, despite the fact they are in a world with monsters. The language of this story ran really well, and the author chose his words quite carefully. If you are interested in mystery/horror books, this would be a good choice for you. Ages ten and up would like this book. I would definitely recommend this book. This book has an excellent story, and I never wanted it to end!
