Goodnight, Ark
It’s night time on Noah’s Ark and all of the animals settle down to sleep. Then a big thunderstorm hits! The animals wake up afraid and decide to go to Noah’s bed… just like my brother and I do with our mom and dad. I thought this was really funny. Noah doesn’t even wake up for awhile while all these animals are getting into his bed. But then the ark starts to tip and the skunk gets scared and makes a really bad smell. That wakes up Noah! He’s really surprised to see all of the animals in his bedroom. Noah is a good dad and takes all of the animals back to their own bed.
If you liked Goodnight, Zoo, you’ll like Goodnight, Ark too. I liked this book, but it is for younger kids. I read chapter books now. I think it’s perfect for 2 to 4 year olds, and I’ll read it to my baby sister when she’s older. It was funny to see that the big, bad tigers were afraid of a thunderstorm!
