Goodbye, School was a sad story because Franny left her school to go to a new school. She said goodbye to her classroom by putting her hand on the outside of her classroom and slid it across the outside of the classroom wall. She also put four-leaf clovers out on the tables for her class because she wanted her class to remember her. She gave her teacher a hug and her friend the tree a hug and she said, “Be a friend to my class.” She took a four-leaf clover to remember her class and her teacher.

I liked the book because it’s like how I felt when I moved into a new school this year. It made me remember how I felt when I left my old school. The way I said goodbye to my class was giving out donuts to the whole class, and I felt sad when school was out because I wasn’t able to give my number to everyone in my class. My favorite part of the book was when Franny gave her teacher a hug and her old friend a tree a hug too. I recommend this book for kids who are in between five years old and ten.
