This book is about saying good night in different languages. In Mandarin, they say “Wan an” to say good night. In Russian, they say “Spokoynoy nochi” to say good night. In Italian, they say “Buona notte” to say good night. In Finnish, they say “Hywaa yota” to say good night. In Swahili, they say “Usiku mwema” to say good night. In Spanish, they say “Buenas noches” to say good night. In Arabic, they say “Tisbah ala khair” to say good night. In Hindi, they say “Shubh raatri” to say good night. In German, they say “Gute nacht” to say good night. In French, they say “Bonne nuit” to say good night. In Korean, they say “Jal jayo” to say good night.

Everyone says good night in different languages. I like the book because it says different languages that I could learn to say good night. My favorite part was when the kids were cracking up on the floor having a sleepover laying and the boy was hanging upside down because it looks funny. In Spanish, I like to say buenas noches and delicioso so that part of the book was my favorite way to say good night. I think big kids will like the book, like me.
