Girl & Gorilla: Out and About
The girl and the gorilla are friends, and they want to go to the park. It isn’t as far as the moon, but it isn’t really close. So they start walking to the park. They think how they could get to the park. Like they wish to get there, and they think they could play jump rope or fly a kite there. But it takes a long time and the gorilla says, “We’ll never get to play! We’ll never get to the park!” but then they are at the park! They have a lot of fun at the park flying kites, riding elephants, playing hopscotch, and lots of other fun things, all the things they were talking about on the way to the park.
This book is really fun and I like it because the pictures are funny. I like the gorilla because the gorilla keeps on saying things they can do with his tail, but he doesn’t have a tail! But I don’t think it would really be fun to have a gorilla as a friend because gorillas can’t talk. But if they could talk, it would be fun to play with a gorilla at the park.
