Ghosts of Greenglass House
It is Christmas time again at the Greenglass House, and Milo is ruffled because, once again, there is a person staying there, and he feels that is going to ruin his Christmas vacation. Things only get worse when, first, guests from last Christmas show up again, and then carolers follow because of uncontrollable circumstances. Meddy and her father, who are ghosts, show up again this Christmas too, which means something is amiss in the Greenglass House. Milo and Meddy sneak around trying to figure out what is going on with all these people as the mystery gets deeper and stranger.
This book was very enjoyable to read, and the setting adds to the mystery and mystique of the story. The plot was somewhat the same as the first book, but the characters and twists were different enough to make it new and exciting. Readers will like figuring out the mystery with Milo and Meddy again, and while you may suspect different people, you will probably be surprised at the ending. This book is suspenseful but not scary; it is a fun mystery for older tweens.
