Ghostly Echoes is about a murder. The person murdered was a landlord named Jenny Cavanaugh. She was murdered 10 years ago. She had enlisted two people to help her solve her own murder. Abigail Rook and R.F. Jackaby. They promised to help her find her fiance because he went missing the night Jenny was murdered. And they also find out that another murder is almost the same as Jenny’s murder. Abigail and Jackaby also met a seven-year-old girl named Irina. She said that she could see things that other people couldn’t. For example: a ghost like Jenny. Jackaby is like that, too. Irina pulled out a map that could tell where spirits were. Jackaby asked where someone named Pavel was. Pavel was a person that looked like a vampire. He was after Abigail and Jackaby. A few days later, Abigail and Jackaby went to the Annwyn to find a scientist that has been lost for a long time.

Find out what happens after Abigail and Jackaby enter the Annwyn and find the lost scientist. This is the type of book for people who like murder mysteries and ghosts. This book is originally for seventh graders, but I think this book would be good for fifth graders and up.
