It has pests in the book, or does it? Rats eat and destroy food, but rats are friends. They are clever, smarter and more acrobatic. Cockroaches are cannibals. Cockroaches are friends, because they are food for animals like monkeys. Snakes are scary. I like how cobras spit venom. Leeches are somewhere in the middle of friend or foe for me. “Can I help you reattach your finger? Chomp! Yum!” Bats are cool! Only one type of bat sucks blood, and they are blamed for that? I like how the mom bats sniff to find their babies. I think sharks are cool. I like how the sand tiger sharks eat their brothers and sisters. Then they try to run away from their moms. Cleaner fish are shark dentists. I didn’t know swimsuits were made like sharkskin. Mosquitoes are friends, because they pollinate the Arctic orchid.

I like all the animals. I learned a lot of stuff. This is an awesome book! People who need to learn about animals should read this book. The cartoons are funny. I can sort of read this book myself. (There is one weird word.) I like how the author tells more than just bad things or just good things.
