Flubby is Not a Good Pet!

What kind of pet is the best kind of pet? Each pet is has its own specialness. Flubby is a cat, and his owner has friends with pets. Kim said her bird can sing, but Flubby can’t sing. Another friend said his dog can catch, but Flubby can’t catch. Jill has a frog that can jump, but Flubby can’t jump. When it rains Flubby can’t run for cover. Even if he can’t do a lot of things, that doesn’t mean that Flubby is a bad pet. Flubby needs and loves his owner, and the owner needs and loves him.

I like this book because not every one is perfect, and not every pet is perfect, but you don’t have to change for any one. It was fun to read about the different pets and what made each of them special. But the most important thing is that Flubby is loved, and he loves his person.
