Flowers Are Calling

In this book there are these little poems that tell you about different types of flowers. The flowers are calling to be pollinated, but they aren’t calling to animals like the bear, or the frog, or the moose; they are calling to insects. The pictures are very pretty, and show many different types of flowers. Then, after the poems there are pages that tell you more about each type of flower in the book. The pictures are drawn or painted, but they look very real, and you can learn a lot about the flowers from this book. I like all the pictures and the little poems, even though the poems all start very much the same; they say flowers are calling some animal, and then say no, not that animal. They are calling some insect to help them get pollinated. My favorite picture in this book is the one with the moonflowers, because they are very pretty, and they open up at night when the moon is out.
