Florabelle
This is about a girl who has lots and lots of imagination, and she imagines that everything she thinks about would be more fun if she was something else, like a fairy or a queen. But she’s not, and she doesn’t really pay attention to her family, because they are serious all the time and she doesn’t like that. One day they say she can’t go to the beach if she doesn’t do what they say, so she does, but when she gets to the beach they all have fun but she is scared. Then she uses her imagination to imagine she is something else that would have fun in the water.
This book has really fun pictures that I like because most of them have flowers in them, like the flowers make up Florabelle’s dresses and the ocean fish and other things. This is a good story because it tells you that it is good to use your imagination and to listen to your family, and that there is the right time for both things. I like that Florabelle loves her family and they really love her too.
