Firefly Hollow
This book is about a cricket and a lightning bug. They are both different from the rest of their family. They want to do giant things like baseball and go to the moon. So they run away from their families to do the things they want to do so badly. As they were running away, Firefly heard Cricket’s music (take me out to the ball game), so Firefly followed the sound and found Cricket. They became friends and spied on a miniature giant and one day they got the nerve to try and talk to him, and it worked.
This book is EPIC because one of my favorite books is “Cricket in Time’s Square” and this book is its close cousin. This book is great for anyone age eight or older. The artwork is amazing! I wish this book would tell me more about what happens after they sail off with Vole. I also wish that I would get to hear more about cricket’s family. It would be epic if the author started a series where Cricket, Firefly and Vole meet new friends and go on adventures.
