A girl is going fishing with her grandpa. She asks him if she is too young; she says all these reasons that she is too young, like she is too young to stay up late, or to watch scary movies, or stay home by herself. Her grandpa says he was even younger than she was when he started fishing. But she is asking that because she doesn’t want to stick the hook into a worm. She let her first, second, and third worm free, while Grandpa caught a fish; it was a trout. Then, she got an idea. She uses a bit of her lunch; she takes a little bit of pizza crust and puts it on her hook. She throws it into the water and she caught a trout, like Grandpa!

I thought it was funny how she took out three worms and let them go free. I also thought it was funny how she didn’t want to put the worm on the hook. It was fun that she was going fishing with her grandpa. I went fishing with my grandpa once but I used little bits of hot dogs; I didn’t want to use worms either!
