Finding Dory: Three Little Words

Three Little Words has the same characters as the Finding Dory movie. It is not about the actual movie, but just shows situations when you need to “just keep swimming.” Dory goes out on a journey and she finds herself in situations like running into crabs, feeling alone, or getting lost. She reminds herself that she needs to “just keep swimming.” Dory keeps swimming until she finds where she needs to go.

When I found out that I was going to review Three Little Words I was very excited because I love Finding Nemo. When the book arrived, I thought the pictures were beautiful. They don’t look like images from the movie. They looked more like art. Three Little Words is not about the movie Finding Dory, but inspired by the characters. It just shows Dory in different situations when she needs to “just keep swimming” to make it through the tough times. My favorite page is when Hank the septopus and Dory are in the tubes and the whale friends are calling out to them. This book makes me want to see Finding Dory at the theater.
