Find Your Rainbow: Color and Create Your Way to a Calm and Happy Life
Find Your Rainbow is a coloring book about being nice to others and loving yourself just the way you are. In the book, you get to do things like designing a cheer-up day by planning a day of activities for you and a friend. Or designing ribbons for believing in yourself and for any other thing that wasn’t easy for you. I like this book because you get to color and draw all sorts of things. My favorite coloring page was where there was a hand, and you got to draw friendship bracelets and color nail polish. I like how Jenipher Lyn draws animals, but I don’t really like how she draws people because they kind of look like noodles. I like the font she uses and all the bright colors. I also like how she draws flowers.
My second favorite page in the book is the page where you get to design an after-school snack. It gives you what looks like a little piece of paper: one half is for writing down ingredients and the other half is for writing down instructions. There’s also a quiz that determines whether you are right-brained or left-brained. If you are left brained, it means you are more analytical; if you are right-brained, it means you are more creative.
