Fates Awoken

An amazing tale of the fight for a kingdom’s survival and the terror itfaces. Admiral Valhara and her crew are sent to Prince Jacksiun’s kingdom, Alyssia, to help with a problem. Bloodmanes have been attacking Alyssia. The plot was well constructed and original. The action and romance was combined very well. I hung on every word. I loved the characters! It was like they were real people. I was impressed at how well the Kings character was written. He was the perfect balance of good and evil. All the characters had amazing personalities. The story was highly detailed, which is great because I got a good mental image of the settings. I will note that on one page there was a detailed description of a woman doing a curtsy. I felt this was unneeded and silly. Other than this, the writing was smooth and believable. There were no illustrations, but I feel they weren’t needed. Teens and young adults are perfect for this book. Anyone with interest in Fantasy would find this book enjoyable as well. This book is already part of a series, but I would love to see both books become movies. I know I would see both. I would one hundred percent recommend this book. It’s one of those books that makes you stay up late reading it and thinking about it. You must read this book! I couldn’t wait until I could read it all, and I’ll bet the same will go for you.
