Farmer Falgu Goes Kite Flying
Farmer Falgu Goes Kite Flying is a good book for ages 10 and younger, but all ages can read it. I love the book, and it’s one of the favorites I’ve ever reviewed because the message is great. The father comes up with an idea to make four kites strung together, so each person can have one even though they’ve only got one string. They can all hold the string together, and I like when people find good solutions. I’m glad this book is part of a series because when I find a book I like, I want to read more like it. The people’s names are interesting, and I like that they are different from characters in most other books I’ve read. The book was inspired by a kite flying festival. I saw a bunch of people flying kites and listening to Indian music at a park once, but didn’t know what it was. After reading this book, now I want to attend a spring kite festival. The writer and illustrator are very talented, and this book will bring joy to lots of people.
