Farm Babies
This book is about mother animals and their babies. We see different farm animals on each page. We see a chicken, a duck, a pig, a cow, a sheep, a horse, a cat, a dog, and a human at the very end. On one page, there’s a mommy pig, but it doesn’t show her babies, so you open up the flap and see all the babies. Each page has a different animal. My favorite is the cat because the kittens are so cute.
I love this book because the words all rhyme and we learn about the baby animals. I love all the flaps. You can create different animal combinations with the different flaps, like a half-chicken and half-duck. The drawings are beautiful–they almost look real, and they remind me of our pets. Little kids will love this book because it’s not too long and there aren’t too many words. They can learn the names of each animal, and the flaps are fun. If you like animals and farms, I think you would like this book.
