I enjoyed how this book was about the character of Fancy Nancy. She likes to use lots of fancy words like “autumn.” My favorite character is Fancy Nancy, because she wears fancy clothes and uses fancy words. I like doing those things, too. Another good character is Ms. Glass. She is Fancy Nancy’s teacher. The book is a collection of six different stories about Fancy Nancy! This character is creative: “I can make myself a brand-new costume. And I’ll make it extra fancy.” The illustrations in this book are very pretty because they’re very colorful and they help you follow the story. My favorite part was when Fancy Nancy wrote a poem because I like poems, too. Another good part was when Fancy Nancy said, “Then I do something wicked. (Wicked is way worse than bad.)” I liked everything about this book. People who like Fancy Nancy and people who like different ways of using words will enjoy this book. I think it is a good book for girls and boys up to ten years old. What makes this book so special? All the fancy words!
