Fancy Nancy, Bree, and little sister Jo Jo are setting up a doll fashion show. They call it Spring Fashion Fling. They are so excited about this special entertainment that they will put on for the grownups. They are even going to use real flowers in their designs. There are many costumes but each one is unique. Fancy Nancy and her friend are inviting people to their fashion show with invitations with real flowers on them. As the show starts, Fancy Nancy trips and pulls on the tablecloth. Food and drinks go flying everywhere. But the show must go on, and when her little sister sees what is happening, she starts out with the dolls next in line. The show is a huge success!
I like this book because it has a happy, surprise ending. The little sister is the hero who saves the day. Sometimes in other books she’s annoying, but this time, she is the star of the show. Fancy Nancy books are always entertaining. This one even comes with stickers!
