Fancy Nancy: Nancy Clancy: My Secret Diary
Nancy Clancy: My Secret Diary is a hardbound book with lots of activities and questions to make you think about what to write in a diary. There are also activities like puzzles, and crosswords, and secret messages. For example, there’s a section on being a Bibliophile –a person who loves books–because Nancy loves books. The Diary asks if you like reading. It asks what are your favorite books, who is your favorite character, and what would you say to that character if you met him or her in real life? It gives you space to write your answers.
I like this book because I like the activities and questions that are in it. Usually, I know what I want to write in my diary, but sometimes it’s good to have some other ideas and questions so I don’t keep writing the same things over and over. The paper is nice and thick, so you can use all sorts of markers without having to worry about the ink going through the pages. There are also four sheets of stickers in the back. This would be a good book for a young girl who wants to start writing a diary, but doesn’t know where to start.
