Fancy Nancy and the Fall Foliage
Nancy loves everything fancy, she especially loves fall. In Fancy Nancy and the Fall Foliage, when Nancy volunteers to help her mom and dad rake leaves outside, Nancy gets some creative ideas on how to use the colorful leaves she has found to celebrate the beautiful autumn season.
In Fancy Nancy’s words, I adored this book. I love that each Fancy Nancy book teaches new words and I try my best to use these new words when I talk. From this book, I learned the words burgundy and foliage. I had never heard these two words before, but now I know how to use them. I am an early reader and this book was a bit hard for me to read on my own. It was the font that made it hard for me to recognize some letters and to read some of the words. This book gave me some great ideas for crafts to try when the autumn leaves start to fall in my yard. I loved being like Nancy and making my own fall creation with the stickers that come in the book.
