Fake Blood
Fake Blood is a funny graphic novel about a boy named AJ, who has a crush on a girl named Nia, who is obsessed with vampires.
While Nia and AJ work on their school country project, which is, of course, Transylvania, AJ realizes if he acts and dresses like a vampire it might impress Nia. AJ starts to wear his sister BB’s dark eye shadow to make his eyes look like dark vampire eyes, squirts fake blood on his teeth, and wears his hair spikey.
At the same time, the kids start noticing strange things about their teacher, Mr. Niles. An unexpected turn of events happens.
I thought this graphic novel was a bit cheesy since the vampire stuff was a bit silly, but I found the pictures really cool. There were many funny parts, like when Mr. Niles couldn’t work out his phone. I think it would be a good book for kids ten and up.
