Fairy Tale Comics: Classic Tales Told by Extraordinary Cartoonists
I am so glad I received this book for review. This is one book I keep reading again and again for fun. There are seventeen fairy tales in this book. My favorites are the “The Twelve Dancing Princesses” and “Baba Yaga”. I had read most of the fairy tales in the book before. There were a few new ones like “Give Me the Shudders” and “Azzolino’s Story Without End” that I had not come across before. Even my three-year-old sister loves this book. I read some of my favorites to her. She loves to look at the pictures when I read the story. She loves “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” best because there are no words, only pictures and she can look at it by herself! Each of the seventeen fairy tales has a different artist that has drawn the pictures in the comic strips. The end of the book has a few lines about each artist that is interesting to read. This book has inspired me to write stories comic book style! Kids of all ages will love this book.
