Explorer Academy: The Nebula Secret

This a story about a kid, Cruz, who is being chased by “the Nebula,” but does not know what the Nebula is.

Why they are chasing him and trying to kill him? What is the Nebula, and why are they after Cruz?

I thought the plot was original, but the end didn’t make sense. It was kind of believable, except for some futuristic things. There was not enough information about the characters to help me relate to them. The parts where they talked about different locations in the world was the best part for me. I think the story was well-written but too unbelievable. The illustrations looked like they copy-and-pasted onto something. It bothered me.

The people who should read this book are third graders to seventh graders.

This book would be good for a series because it leaves you on a cliff-hanger. I would recommend this book to kids who like mystery or science fiction. I would not recommend this book to action-lovers or drama-lovers. There are not a lot of fighting scenes. No one throws a punch. I would not read this book again. I would recommend this book if you are kind of bored or did not want an exciting book.
