Earth, Sea & Stars: Inspiring Tales of the Natural World
If you love to read, then you probably always appreciate a good anthology. Earth, Sea & Stars is a great one, filled with stories that are not so well known from all over the world. Some are familiar and you might know a different version that came from somewhere else, but most of the stories are really fresh. It’s a nice assortment of folk tales, all of which are about some part of nature—animals, the Earth, sea, or stars, how something came to be, why something looks a certain way.
A nice feature of the book is the story map, which means you can see right where the story originated in case you don’t already know all of the geography. The author did a great job of finding a wide assortment and retelling the stories in an engaging way with a strong vocabulary that is still perfectly clear. It’s a nice addition to anyone’s library.
