DreamWorks’ Dragons: Riders of Berk – Dragon Down
When Hookfang starts shedding his scales while flying and causes a lot of fear and damage in the village, his feelings get hurt and he runs away. The trainers decide to start a search party for him, but there is a bad storm that stops them. When the adults find out, they are super mad and they are grounded. When some nasty Vikings see Hookfang is shedding fire scales, they want him captured as he is the perfect weapon. Hiccup is captured and the Berks come to save him. Will lessons be learned?
Dragons: Riders of Berk takes readers on an action-packed adventure where feelings get hurt, friendships are rubbed the wrong way, and a good lesson that it’s okay to show your emotions. By working together, the riders show readers that team work will accomplish a lot more than by trying to do everything yourself. Ask for help and think of other people’s feelings.
If you loved the movie or have read any of the other graphic novels in this series, you will love this book too. It’s bright and colorful pictures bring each page to life and will have you rereading it over and over. This will be a favorite book for sure!
