Dream

This was a very sweet book. It is about a gorilla family that has a brand new baby gorilla. It is a very tiny, cute little baby. The parent gorillas go to sleep at night and dream about their baby’s life. What will it be like? What will it do? Where will it go? What sort of adventures will it have?

The parents dream about the baby growing up and trying new things. Sometimes the baby gorilla does something cool, like climb really high in a tree. Sometimes he meets a new friend, but they move away. The parents want to keep the baby gorilla from being sad, but they can’t.

The parents then dream about the child growing up and leaving home. They are happy and sad and proud. I think it would be exciting to watch a child leave home and find their own life!

I really liked this book. I enjoyed how most of the story was a dream.

I like the pictures. They are pretty, colorful, and they make me happy! I think everyone should read this book!
