This review is about a book called Dream On Amber. Amber’s full name is Ambra Alessandra Leola Kimiko Miyamoto. And she is half Italian and half Japanese. She lives with her mom, her little sister, Bella, and her Nonna. They all live in South London. Her dad doesn’t live with her because he left her when she was younger. In a few days, it is going to be Amber’s first day of middle school and Bella’s first day of first grade. Ambra thought it was terrible. On her forth day, she almost got tossed in a trash bin. Then one of Amber’s teachers saw and sent Joanne Pyke, the person who was throwing Amber in the trash bin, to the principal’s office. Later, she found out that Joane Pyke is Tommy Pyke’s big sister. So Amber was really ready to go. She had to pull Bella’s hand. When they got home, Amber lyed down on her bed thinking. Then she came down for dinner. Her mom gave her rubbery eggs. She wanted to know what was wrong. After that, Bella gave Amber a letter and Bella said to mail it to their dad. But the mailman won’t know where he lives. Bella said that he knows where everybody lives. After that, Amber wanted to learn karatae to defend herself. But that didn’t go to well. One month later, it was Bella’s birthday. Amber didn’t want anybody going in her room. When the party started, there were six year olds running around the room. Just to make them stay still, Amber put on a movie. 30 minutes later, it was time to sing happy birthday to Bella. After that, she got to cut the first slice. After the party was over, Ambra sat on her bed. Then she saw the perfect dad. Find out the rest when you read the book.
