Dragon’s Green (Worldquake)

Dragon’s Green is an adventure book with lots of magic! It’s about a girl, Effie, who learns there is a magical world where part of her family lives. She finds herself in a book where she uses all that she has learned to get through and save her family. Along the way, she makes unexpected new friends who will likely accompany her on her next adventure.

I could not put the book down so that even while eating I was reading Dragon’s Green! The author told me a lot about the characters, so I really understood them and why they acted the way they did. I think the book was very well written, and it kept me interested even though there were no illustrations (though the cover is amazing!).

This book will be a great series for kids who like magic, and I can’t wait for the next one. In the meantime, I am re-reading it, and it’s even better the second time! If you want your kids to pay attention at dinner, it may not be the book for you, but they will feed their mind on this great book.
