Douglas, You Need Glasses!

There is a dog that needs glasses! He thinks that a leaf is a squirrel and that his owner’s hat is his owner! He can’t see the signs that tell him to stay out of the wet cement and he tracks cement into someone else’s house! Finally he brings back a hornet’s nest because he thinks it is his ball, and his owner says he has to get glasses! He is so happy when he gets them because now everything looks amazing!

You will like this book because it is funny to see the funny things that Douglas does because he can’t see things very well. Douglas is a funny-looking dog, but he is still cute. My favorite part is where he is eating another dog’s food because he went in the wrong house and the other dog is really grumpy! Everyone is really nice to him even when he makes messes, but it is really good that he can finally see things the way they are supposed to be eventually.
