If you liked the action in The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins than you’re going to love this book. It’s the third novel in the Don’t Turn Around trilogy, and I hadn’t read the other two before I started reading Don’t Let Go, but it didn’t matter. From the first page, I connected with the main character Noa and her fight to stay one step ahead of the evil people who are trying to kill her and her friends: Peter, Daisy, and Teo.

Noa is an orphan and a computer hacker. She’s sick and people are trying to kill her. She and three of her friend’s from Persephone’s Army want to expose the man Charles Pike who they believe is behind using teens as guinea pigs to find a cure for a disease called PEMA. It’s bad enough when animals are killed to find diseases but now humans are expandable too! Noa and her friends are carrying stolen hard drives. They think the drives hold the information to bring down Pike, to find a cure for PEMA, and to restore Noa’s health. But the hard drives are password protected. They must hack into them before it’s too late and they end up dead like many of their friends from Persephone’s Army.

I really liked this book because it was really fast paced and I liked the characters: Noa, Peter, Daisy, and Teo. They have each others’ backs, and they care about each other. They are constantly on the run trying to escape Pike and his goons but they never give up. They keep fighting even when things seem hopeless. Now that I know the ending, I have to read the first two books in the trilogy and know more about how this all began.
