Billy the Kid is the cutest singing pup. Once his career takes off, he tours all over the world, but he remembers that family is most important and writes them letters to update them on when he will be home for Christmas. When something pops up, and the tour is extended to Christmas day, Billy knows he must cancel and get home because family is the most important.
I really like this book. It is so cute. My family is a big fan of Dolly Parton and frequently visits Dollywood, so naturally, I enjoyed the funny version of barking 9 to 5! The illustrations are so bright and colorful. I like how the music notes are patterned in a different color when he is singing. This is a new family favorite!
