Dogs at Work: Good Dogs. Real Jobs.
This story is a little out of the ordinary as dogs and humans seem to work together in order to get the job done. Did you know that dogs can have jobs? Some jobs people would just be unable to do without the help of a dog, like how service dogs help those with a disability or some dogs rescue people when they have gotten themselves into trouble. Finally, some dogs just sit at home like a good boy or girl and wait for their human to come back and love them. After reading this book, I now know why dogs are man’s best friend.
I really liked this book and getting to know more about the many different roles dogs can play in helping us with work. Some dogs are specially trained to assist those with health needs, and some are trained to assist police officers with their job. I didn’t know how useful dogs could be in helping humans. The illustrations in this book were very cute and had some funny parts, like when one of the dogs appeared to have swapped jobs with human by running for mayor! Overall, it is a good book!
