Dog Man Unleashed (Dog Man #2): From the Creator of Captain Underpants
Dog Man is a cop. He is a man with a dog head. There is a bad guy–well, three to be precise. Dog Man’s arch-enemy is a cat named Petey. (Who would’ve guessed?) Today is the chief’s birthday. Dog Man’s job is to get him a fish. When he goes to the pet store, let’s just say there is slobber on the new kibble for delivery and the squeaky balls are in peril. The fish is five dollars plus tacks. (Yes, I said, “tacks.”) Dog Man has no money, so they give him an evil fish for free, and he gives it to chief. Happy birthday chief…not! Will chief like his “butterfly fish”? Will Dog Man save the day? Will he defeat all three villains? Read the book to find out.
This is the second Dog Man book. The kids from the Captain Underpants books are the “authors.” It’s a graphic novel. It has flip-o-ramas. There are also instructions for how to draw the characters. I love all of Dav Pilkey’s books. This book would be liked by everyone. It is very funny and doesn’t have as much toilet humor as some of the other ones.
