Dog Man and Cat Kid: From the Creator of Captain Underpants

They are making a movie about Dog Man, and Petey the cat is trying to ruin the movie. He is also trying to turn his kitten clone, Lil Petey, evil. Lil Petey wants to be like Dog Man, a hero. He wants to be called Cat Kid. Petey says Cat Kid is destined to be a bad guy, because they are related. Dog Man is being a bodyguard for one of the actors. He gets fired, because he’s messing up the movie by accident. Petey kidnaps one of the actors, and he makes the robot hotdogs evil. Will Petey be successful in ruining the movie? Will Lil Petey become evil? Read the book to find out.

This book is a continuation of the last Dog Man book. They tell you what happened before, but they don’t talk about the robot hotdogs that were in the last book and this book.

This book was inspired by the book East of Eden. There are notes in the back. This book is a graphic novel. There are instructions to draw the characters from the book. My favorite character is Chief. He is the chief of police. I liked when the guard kept falling down the hole that Dog Man dug. I am excited to read the next book, Lord of the Fleas.
