Dog Days of School

This book is about a boy named Charlie and his dog named Norman. Charlie is tired of going to school. So on Sunday night when he wasn’t able to get to sleep he made a wish. His wished that he was a dog. On Monday morning, Charlie was a dog and Norman was a kid. Everyday Norman went to school and Charlie stayed at home. Norman practiced letters, listened to stories, played kickball, played with blocks and went on a field trip. Charlie watched leaves fall, drank from the toilet, played fetch, went to the dog groomers and got locked up in the laundry room after digging in the yard. After a week of being a dog, Charlie decided that he wanted to be a kid again and go back to school! This was a funny book. I really liked this book and I think any kid would like to read this book! The illustrations are fun too.
