It’s a busy Winter day at the doctor’s office. The waiting room is full, and the doctor takes care of his patients one by one. First, little Crow, who hurt his foot skiing. A funny picture shows how it happened. Doctor Nice bandages his foot, which little Crow likes a lot, he could even jump in it. Then it’s Moose’s turn. He fell in the ice while skating and he’s sneezing. Dr. Nice recommends him to stay in bed for a few days. Then the goat kids see the doctor because they have been playing hockey and banging heads… and now have a headache. Dr. Nice checks their head and wraps them with pillows, so that they cannot get hurt anymore.

Mr. Bear complains about falling asleep in the snow and having a sore throat. Dr. Nice gives him tea with honey to drink. Mr. Bear is very happy as honey is his favorite food. Ms. Pig has a frozen nose, because she stuck her nose out to see how cold it was. Dr. Nice puts a funny bandaid on it and reminds her that she has a sensitive nose, so she needs to cover it with a scarf. Mrs. Cow fell on an icy sidewalk and hurt her tail. Dr. Nice wraps the tail and reminds her to be careful.

Then Dr. Nice’s mommy walks in and reminds him that it’s time for lunch. Actually Dr. Nice is a kid just like me, playing doctor with his stuffed animals! I liked the book because of the funny pictures showing all the accidents and because it reminds me that doctors are here to help us, even if sometimes we are scared of them.
