Dinosaur vs. Mommy

In Dinosaur vs. Mommy, a child sees himself as a dinosaur, roaring through his day with his mommy. It is so funny how Dinosaur’s eyebrows look evil as he is creeping into Mommy’s bedroom to wake her in the morning. Then, he jumps on her while she is in bed! He is clearly very excited to start his day of adventures!

When Dinosaur and Mommy go to the store, instead of just picking up milk, Dinosaur bothers Mommy for some yummy treats, and wins! He also walks out of the store with a unicorn balloon. How lucky!

It is funny how Dinosaur says, “Roar!,” throughout the book–little roars, and big roars, excited roars, and curious roars.

My favorite part of the book is when Dinosaur throws his toys into the toilet and flushes while Mommy tries to take a shower. I think Dinosaur knows that his behavior is naughty, but he wants to do it anyway.

The pictures in the book are very bright, happy pictures. I loved the end of the story, and I think you will, too!
