Dilly Dally Daisy
Dilly Dally Daisy is about a little girl named Daisy and she was always late. She always finds little things to distract her, like going up the stairs like a cat, or lining up her stuffed animals to watch her get on the bus, but that ends up making Daisy miss her bus. Her mom is always trying to get Daisy to be on time, but there are so many other things that Daisy thinks she needs to do, like get a towel for her stuffed penguin, and finding her mermaid shirt, which is in the dirty laundry. Daisy is determined not to be late for swimming lessons, and just when she is on time, she can’t decide the best jacket to wear.
I liked Dilly Dally Daisy. My favorite part of the book was the pictures. The illustrations showed more of the story than what was in the words. Like when Daisy’s tells her to brush her hair, the pictures show her painting with her hairbrush, or her making a big mess of the laundry area. I think other kids would like this book.
